Terms of Service

Last updated: 25 August 2026  ·  Poksiklubi Kalev MTÜ

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the FightBase mobile application and website at fightbaseapp.com, operated by Poksiklubi Kalev MTÜ, a company registered in Estonia ("FightBase", "we", "us", or "our").

By creating an account or using FightBase, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

1. About FightBase

FightBase is a sports technology platform that helps combat sports coaches, camp organisers, and federations manage their classes, rosters, attendance, and communications, and helps athletes discover and keep track of their training. FightBase is a software tool. We are not a training provider, gym, coaching service, employment agency, or payment institution.

FightBase does not process, hold, transmit, or take any share of payments between athletes and the coaches, organisers, or federations they train with.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. By using FightBase, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate and complete.

3. User Roles

FightBase supports four account types:

You may hold more than one role and switch between them at any time from your account settings.

4. Class Requests and Registrations

When you request to join a class, session, course, camp, or qualification programme through FightBase:

FightBase does not guarantee that any class will take place, that a Coach will accept your request, or that a session will run as scheduled.

5. Payments

Subscription payments to FightBase. Paid FightBase subscriptions are processed securely by Stripe, Inc. FightBase does not store your card details. By subscribing, you also agree to Stripe's terms of service. Subscription prices are displayed in euros (EUR). FightBase is not responsible for currency conversion or other fees charged by your bank or card provider.

Payments for training. Payment for classes, sessions, courses, camps, and qualification programmes is settled directly between you and the Coach, Organiser, or Academy — for example by cash, bank transfer, or their own card terminal. FightBase does not receive, hold, transmit, or take any share of these payments, and provides no payment processing, escrow, or payout service for them.

Because FightBase never holds these funds, FightBase has no ability to charge, refund, reverse, or recover them, and accepts no liability in relation to them.

6. Cancellations and Refunds

Training. Cancellation and refund terms for classes, camps, and programmes are set entirely by the Coach, Organiser, or Academy. Because FightBase does not process these payments, FightBase cannot issue refunds for them and is not liable for disputes about them. Any refund must be arranged directly with the person you paid.

Cancelled sessions. A Coach or Organiser may cancel an individual session or change a schedule. FightBase will show the change in the app where it has been recorded, but does not guarantee that you will receive or read any notice in time.

Subscriptions. See section 8.

If you believe a Coach, Organiser, or Academy has acted fraudulently or in bad faith, contact us at hello@fightbaseapp.com and we will investigate. We may suspend or remove accounts, but we cannot recover money we never held.

7. Coach, Organiser, and Academy Responsibilities

If you list a class, camp, course, or programme on FightBase, you agree to:

FightBase reserves the right to remove any listing or suspend any account that violates these obligations.

7a. Member Data

When you use FightBase to manage rosters, attendance, and announcements, you are recording personal data about your members. In respect of that data, you act as data controller and FightBase acts as your data processor. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to record it, for informing your members, and for responding to their data protection requests.

FightBase processes that data only to provide the service to you. Where required, a separate Data Processing Agreement applies.

8. Subscriptions

FightBase offers paid subscription tiers. Subscription fees are billed monthly in advance via Stripe and are the only payments FightBase collects from you.

Some tiers include limits, such as the maximum number of members you may have across your classes. If you exceed the limit of your tier, you may be asked to upgrade before adding further members. Existing records are never deleted because of a tier limit.

You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are provided for unused subscription time. If your subscription lapses, your data is retained in accordance with our Privacy Policy and access is restored if you resubscribe.

We may change subscription prices. We will give at least 30 days' notice before a change affects your renewal.

9. Verified Badge

FightBase offers a one-time Verified Badge for coaches and organisers who complete our verification process. The badge is non-transferable and may be revoked if the account is found to have provided false information during verification.

10. Invoicing Tool

FightBase may provide a tool that helps you generate invoice documents for payments you have collected directly. This tool is a document generator only.

You are solely responsible for the accuracy of every invoice you issue, including amounts, sequential numbering, VAT treatment, and compliance with the tax and accounting law of your jurisdiction. FightBase does not verify any figure you enter, is not a party to any invoice you issue, does not confirm that any payment was made, and does not provide tax, accounting, or legal advice.

Invoice records you create are stored so that you can retrieve them. Retention is described in our Privacy Policy.

11. Prohibited Conduct

You must not use FightBase to:

Violation of these rules may result in immediate account suspension or termination.

12. Content

You retain ownership of any content you upload to FightBase (photos, text, listings). By uploading content, you grant FightBase a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display and use that content to operate and promote the platform.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload any content you post.

13. Objectionable Content and Zero Tolerance

FightBase has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behaviour. You agree not to create, upload, post, transmit, or share any content, or engage in any conduct, that is unlawful, harassing, threatening, abusive, defamatory, hateful, discriminatory, violent, sexually explicit, or otherwise objectionable.

FightBase provides tools within the app to report objectionable content or users and to block other users directly. We review reports of objectionable content and abusive behaviour and will act on valid reports within 24 hours — including removing the content and suspending or permanently removing the user responsible.

By using FightBase, you agree to these content standards. Accounts that violate them may be suspended or terminated without notice.

14. Limitation of Liability

FightBase is a software platform. We do not control the quality, safety, or legality of the classes, camps, coaching, or programmes listed on it, and we do not verify the accuracy of listings, attendance records, or invoices created by users.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FightBase's total liability for any claim arising from your use of the platform is limited to the total subscription fees you paid to FightBase in the 12 months preceding the claim.

FightBase is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to injury sustained during training, sessions that do not take place, schedule changes, missed notifications, lost income, or disputes about payments between you and another user.

15. Disclaimer

Combat sports training carries inherent physical risk. By booking camps or coaching sessions through FightBase, you acknowledge and accept these risks. FightBase strongly recommends that you ensure you have appropriate health insurance and that you disclose any medical conditions to your coach or organiser before training.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Estonia. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of FightBase shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Estonia.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of FightBase after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
